Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) announced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2008.The first students were admitted in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar offers Bachelor of Technology programs in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering. The institute also offers Masters’ and Ph.D. studies in various fields in engineering, sciences and humanities, and social sciences.
